WHEREAS, on August 7, 1989, bids were received for the
purchase of Dresser bell joint clamps to be used by the Water
Distribution Division; and,
WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Pipe & Water Supply Co. of Beaumont,
Texas submitted a bid in the amount of $16,637. 48; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe & Water Supply Co. is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe & Water Supply Co
in the amount of $16,637. 48 for the purchase of Dresser bell joint
clamps to be used by the Water Distribution Division be accepted
by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
day of 1989.
