R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on August 7, 1988, bids were received for the
purchase of brass hex bushings, couplings, ells, nipples, and SDR
35 rubber gasket sewer fittings for use in water and sewer main
repair; and,
WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Pipe & Water Supply Company of
Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of $15,089.98; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe & Water Supply Co. is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe & Water Supply Co.
in the amount of $15,089.98 for the purchase of brass hex bushings,
couplings, ells, nipples, and SDR 35 rubber gasket sewer fittings
for use in water and sewer main repair be accepted by the City of
Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the 22 day of August , 1989.
