R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 24, 1989, bids were received for the
purchase of two (2) diesel-powered crew cab trucks mounted with a
4-cubic yard contractor dump body; and,
WHEREAS, Atterbery Truck Sales, Inc. of Beaumont,
Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of $30,025.88 each; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Atterbery Truck Sales, Inc. is the lowest and
best bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Atterbery Truck Sales, Inc. in the
amount of $30,025.88 each be accepted by the City of Beaumont for
the purchase of two (2) diesel-powered crew cab trucks mounted
with a 4-cubic yard contractor dump body.
