R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on May 22 , 1989, bids were received for the
purchase of herbicides; and,
WHEREAS, Wilber-Ellis/Tide Division of Jennings,
Louisiana submitted a bid in the amount of $13 ,204 , 65 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Wilber-Ellis/Tide Division is the lowest and
best bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Wilber-Ellis/Tide Division in the
amount of $13,204.65 be accepted by the City of Beaumont for the
purchase of 235 gallons of Roundup herbicide.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
