R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on May 22, 1989, bids were received for the
purchase of two (2) tandem axle, diesel-powered cabs and chassis
with 14 cubic yard dump bodies; and,
WHEREAS, Smart' s White GMC Truck and Trailer Equipment
of Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of $108, 132.12 ;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Smart' s White GMC Truck and Trailer Equipment is
the lowest and best bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Smart' s White GMC Truck and Trailer
Equipment in the amount of $108 ,132.12 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont for the purchase of two (2 ) tandem axle, diesel-powered
cabs and chassis with 14 cubic yard dump bodies.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the 13th day of June , 1989.
