WHEREAS, on May 8, 1989, bids were received for an
annual contract for the purchase of sand cement; and,
WHEREAS, Beeco Sand Company submitted a bid for 1 -1 /2
sack sand cement at $7.30 per ton and 2 sack cement at $8.60 per
ton; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Beeco Sand Company is the lowest and best bid
submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Beeco Sand Company in the amounts
listed above be accepted by the City of Beaumont for an annual
contract for the purchase of sand cement.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
