R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on May 1 , 1989, bids were received for an
annual contract to purchase ready mix cement; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:
Cowboy Concrete
Five Sack Cement: $49.50/cy
Add or Delete per Sack 3.00/sack
American Builder's Concrete, Inc.
Type III High Early Cement $52.02/cy
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted above are the lowest and best bids submitted and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted above be accepted by the City of Beaumont
in the amounts listed for an annual contract to purchase ready
mix concrete.
