R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on April 17 , 1989, bids were received for
the the purchase of three (3) Para-transit vans for the Beaumont
Municipal Transit Company; and,
WHEREAS, Metrotrans Corporation of Griffin, Georgia
submitted a bid in the amount of $138,591 .00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Metrotrans Corporation is the lowest and best
bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Metrotrans Corporation in the amount of
$138 ,591 .00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont for the purchase
of three (3) para-transit vans for the Beaumont Municipal Transit
Company.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
