R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on January 9, 1989 , City Council awarded a contract
to APAC-Texas, Inc. for construction of the Crockett Connector
Street Project in the amount of $2,282,014.00; and,
WHEREAS , Change Order No. 1 is being requested to prepare
areas outside the existing construction limits for the smooth
transition of traffic from cross streets onto the Crockett
Connector for $20.50 per square yard ( 700 sq. yds. ) for a total
expected cost of $14,350.00 , increasing the contract amount to
$2,296,364.00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 , in the amount of $14,350 .00, to the contract
between the City of Beaumont and APAC-Texas, Inc. for construction
of the Crockett Connector Street Project.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
9th day of May , 1989.
