WHEREAS on December 14, 1988 , City Council awarded a
contract to Perkins Roofing Company in the amount of $40,155.00
for labor and materials furnished to re-roof the Fire Department
Maintenance Shop; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order Nos. 1 and 2 increased the
contract amount by $2, 311 . 40 making the new contract amount
$42,466.40 ; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed by the
Contractor and is in conformance with the plans and
specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept
the project and make final payment to Perkins Roofing Company in
the amount of $8,133.88 for labor and materials furnished to re-
roof the Fire Department Maintenance Shop.
