R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on April 10 , 1989, bids were received for
the construction of certain improvements at Zaharias Park
relating to adaptation of the Zaharias Memorial Museum for use as
a visitor information center and for installation of a surplus
military aircraft and related items composing a war memorial;
and,
WHEREAS, W. B. Construction Corp. submitted a bid in
the amount of $135,300.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by W. B. Construction Corp. is the lowest and best
bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by W. B. Construction Corp. in the amount
of $135,300 .00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont for the
construction of certain improvements at Zaharias Park relating to
adaptation of the Zaharias Memorial Museum for use as a 'visitor
information center and for installation of a surplus military
aircraft and related items composing a war memorial.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the 25th day of April , 1989.
