BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
all documents necessary for application to the Southeast Texas
Regional Planning Commission for a grant in the amount of Twenty-
Five Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety-Two Dollars ( $25 , 992 . 00 ) to
establish a Drug Abuse Resistance Education Program in the sixth
and seventh grades of all middle schools in the Beaumont
Independent School District.
