WHEREAS on September 20, 1988, a contract was executed
with Watkins Construction Co. in the amount of $83 ,761 .00 for
playground improvements at Chaison and Combest Parks; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed by the
Contractor and inspected by city staff and is in conformance with
the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept
the project and make final payment to Watkins Construction Co. in
the amount of $13,033.00 for playground improvements at Chaison
and Combest Parks.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
day of 1 989.
