WHEREAS, on April 3 , 1989, bids were received for the
purchase of six ( 6 ) submersible pumps for use in the Water
Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, Saladin Pump and Equipment Company, Inc. of
Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of $10, 968.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Saladin Pump and Equipment Company, Inc. is the
best bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Saladin Pump and Equipment Company,
Inc. in the amount of $10 ,968.00 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont for the purchase of six ( 6 ) submersible pumps for use in
the Water Utilities Department.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
