R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on March 27 , 1989, bids were received for an
annual contract to furnish slag aggregate for use by the Landfill
Department; and,
WHEREAS, International Mill Service, Inc. of Beaumont,
Texas, submitted a bid in the amount of $7.00 per ton for 0" - 3"
aggregate with the mileage from the Landfill being 10 miles; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by International Mill Service, Inc. is the lowest
and best bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by International Mill Service, Inc. be
accepted by the City of Beaumont in the amount listed for an
annual contract to furnish slag aggregate for use by the
Landfill Department.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the 11th day of April 1989.
