R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on March 6 , 1989, bids were received for
restoration of the Tyrrell Historical Library; and,
WHEREAS, H. B. Nield & Son of Beaumont, Texas submitted
a bid in the amount of $1 ,694,000.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by H. B. Nield & Son is the lowest and best bid
submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by H. B. Nield & Son in the amount of
$1 ,694,000.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont for restoration
of the Tyrrell Historical Library.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the 4th day of April , 1989.
