WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed the facts of
the claim of Marlena Hudson vs. the City of Beaumont in an
Executive Session properly called and held; and,
WHEREAS the Council desires to authorize the settlement
of the claim;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized to settle
the claim of Marlena Hudson in the amount of Two Thousand Seven
Hundred Seven Dollars and Thirteen Cents ($2 ,707.13 ) .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the full and final
settlement of this claim is hereby ratified.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the 28 day of March , 1989.
