WHEREAS, on March 6 , 1989 , bids were received for the
purchase of one diesel-powered cab and chassis mounted with an
eight cubic yard dump body; and,
WHEREAS , Barrett White GMC of Tyler, Texas submitted a
bid in the amount of $27, 856. 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Barrett White GMC is the lowest and best bid
submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Barrett White GMC in -the amount of
$27 ,856 .00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont for the purchase
of one diesel-powered cab and chassis mounted with an eight cubic
yard dump body.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
