R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, in May, 1988, City Council awarded a contract
to Daniels Building & Construction, Inc. to refurbish the old
Szafir' s Building for the Texas Energy Museum; and,
WHEREAS, there have been two previous change orders to
the project resulting in a decrease in the original contract by
$17,359 .00 ; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 is being requested in the
amount of $21 ,375.00 for the installation of a wood floor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 3 to the contract between the City of Beaumont
and Daniels Building & Construction, Inc. for the refurbishing of
the old Szafir' s Building to the Texas Energy Museum.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the 21 day of March 1989.
