WHEREAS on July 19, 1988, City Council awarded a
contract to JLEECO Builders, Inc. in the amount of $167,561 .00
for the rehabilitation of the old fire station No. 9 (875
College) which will be used as an emergency shelter for the
homeless; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed by the
Contractor and is in conformance with the plans and
specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept
the project and make final payment to JLEECO Builders, Inc. in
the amount of $8,378.05 for the rehabilitation of the emergency
shelter for the homeless.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the 21 day of March , 1989.
