WHEREAS, the City has contracted with MBank of Jefferson
County as a depository for investment purposes; and,
WHEREAS, MBank of Jefferson County wishes to release the
following securities being held at NCNB Texas National Bank Dallas,
effective March 21 , 1989 ;
RECEIPT NO. DESCRIPTION PAR VALUE
846257 U. S. Treasury Notes, Series $ 100,000.00
6 5/8 note H-92 @ 6.625%;
due 2/15/92
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT MBank of Jefferson County be permitted to release the above-
described securities and a certified copy of this resolution shall
constitute the approval of such release as evidence of the
authority of said banks to make said release.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the 21 day of March , 1989.
