WHEREAS on June 1 , 1987 , Sanitary Sewer Improvements
Contract 17E was executed with Cafi Company, Inc. in the amount
of $1 , 921 , 140 .25; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed by the
Contractor and inspected by city staff, the engineer and the
Texas Water Development Board and is in conformance with the
plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE ,IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept
the project and make final payment to Cafi Company, Inc. in the
amount of $116 ,231 .63 for Sanitary Sewer Improvements Contract
17E.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the 28th day of February 1989.
