R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for
the purchase of corrugated polyethylene pipe; and,
WHEREAS, Hancor, Inc. of Yoakum, Texas and Advanced
Drainage Systems, Inc. of Franklin, Texas submitted the following
bids:
Hancor, Inc. :
15" corrugated interior pipe $3.31 per linear foot
18" corrugated interior pipe 4.91 per linear foot
24" corrugated interior pipe 9.05 per linear foot
15" couplings 4.26 each
18" couplings 4.42 each
24" couplings 6.31 each
Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc.
15" smooth interior pipe $4.05 per linear foot
18" smooth interior pipe 6.35 per linear foot
24" smooth interior pipe 9.50 per linear foot
15" couplings 3.70 each
18" couplings 5.40 each
24" couplings 9.00 each
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted above are the lowest and best bids meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:

THAT the bids submitted above for an annual contract for an
