R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on January 9, 1989, bids were received for the
purchase of 349 high pressure 400 watt sodium vapor luminaries
( 400 W-HPS) ; and,
WHEREAS, Consolidated Electrical Distributing Company
of Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of $40,710.65;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Consolidated Electrical Distributing Company is
the lowest and best bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Consolidated Electrical Distributing
Company in the amount of $40,710.65 be accepted by the City of
Beaumont for the purchase of 349 high pressure 400 watt sodium
vapor luminaries.
