WHEREAS, on January 9, 1989, bids were received for an
annual contract to furnish limestone base material; and,
WHEREAS, T-Mix Materials Company of Beaumont, Texas
submitted the following bid:
Limestone F.O.B. Jobsite
Zone 1 $11 .80/ton
Zone 2 11 .60/ton
Zone 3 11 .60/ton
Zone 4 11 . 60/ton
Limestone F.O.B. Plantsite 10. 98/ton
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by T-Mix Materials Company is the lowest and best
bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by T-Mix Materials Company in the amount
stated above be accepted by the City of Beaumont for an annual
contract to furnish limestone base material.
