R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS on October 25, 1988, City Council awarded a
contract to Doty Construction, Inc. , in the amount of $63,370.90
for the construction of the 6" PVC pipe installation for the Fire
Training Grounds Project; and,
WHEREAS, on December 2, 1988, Change Order No. 1 was
approved increasing the contract amount by $1 ,195.97 for a total
of $64,566.87 ; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 is requested in the amount
of $893.00 to connect approximately 3 LF of fifteen inch (15" )
PVC storm sewer at present grade and adjust elevation of 55 LF of
six inch (6" ) PVC pipe to connect to manhole, thereby increasing
the contract amount to $65,459.87; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been inspected by the
Engineering Division and is in conformance with the plans and
specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the herein described project is accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
approve Change Order No. 2 and make final payment to Doty
Construction, Inc. , in the amount of $5,339.31 .
