R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on December 19, 1988, bids were received for
carpet and the installation thereof for the Beaumont Public
Library; and,
WHEREAS, Beaumont Carpet submitted a base bid in the
amount of $13,790.40 plus an alternate bid in the amount of
$923.00 for a total bid price of $14,713.40 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Beaumont Carpet is the best and lowest bid
meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Beaumont Carpet in the amount of
$14,713.40 for the purchase of carpet and the installation
thereof be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
