WHEREAS, on November 28, 1988, bids were received for
the roofing of the Fire Maintenance Building at 1125 Archie
Street; and,
WHEREAS, Perkins Roofing Company submitted a bid in the
amount of $35,203. 00 , including Alternate No. I in the at-Liount of
$4 ,952 .00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Perkins Roofing Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Perkins Roofing Company in the amount
of $35,203. 00, including Alternate No. 1 in the amount of
$4, 952.00 , for the roofing of the Fire Maintenance Building at
1125 Archie Street be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
