WHEREAS, on November 28, 1938, bids were received for
the purchase of a mini-excavator to be used by the operations
Division of the Public Works Department; and,
WHEREAS, Eastex Farm and Home of Beaumont, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $18, 969. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Eastex Farm and Home is the best and lowest bid
meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Eastex Farm and Home in the amount of
$18, 969 .00 for the purchase of a mini-excavator be accepted by
the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
