WHEREAS, on November 7 , 1988, bids were received for an
annual contract for the purchase of regular gasoline, unleaded
gasoline and diesel fuel by tankwagon and transport loads; and
WHEREAS, the M. G. Corporation (Metallgesellschaft
Corp. ) of Maryland submitted the following bid:

and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by M. G. Corporation is the lowest and best bid
submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by M. G. Corporation of Maryland be
accepted by the City of Beaumont in the amounts listed for an
annual contract for the purchase of regular gasoline, unleaded
gasoline and diesel fuel with an option to extend the contract
provisions for an addition six ( 6 ) month period.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
