R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has recommended and approved
the sale of property described as Lot 14, Block 1 , D. Carr
Addition to Louis E. Vaughn for the amount of Seven Hundred
Dollars ($700.00 ) ; and
WHEREAS, because such property is being held in trust
by Jefferson County for the City of Beaumont and the Beaumont
Independent School District, it is necessary for all three
entities to execute a deed to such property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Albert E. Haines, City Manager, be and he is hereby,
authorized to execute a Deed Without Warranty to Louis E. Vaughn
transferring the interest that the City of Beaumont may have in
the property described as Lot 14 , Block 1 , D. Carr Addition,
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the efd day of 1 988.

THAT the City of Beaumont, a municipal corporation situated in Jefferson
County, Texas acting herein by and through its City Manager, the Beaumont
Independent School District, acting herein by and through the President of its
Board of Trustees, and the County of Jefferson, acting herein by and through its
County Judge, for and in consideration of the sum of $700.00, to them in hand
paid by LOUIS E. VAUGHN, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have
GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED, and by these presents do GRANT, SELL and CONVEY unto
the said LOUIS E. VAUGHN, of Jefferson County, Texas, all that certain tract or
parcel of land lying and being situated in Jefferson County, Texas, to-wit:
Lot No. Fourteen (14) , in Block No. One (1) , of D. Carr
Addition to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson County,
Texas, according to the map or plat of said addition of
record in the office of the County Clerk of Jefferson
County, Texas, by virtue of a deed from Elige Carter,
et al, to James Chargois and wife, Irene Chargois, dated
February 7, 1951, recorded in Vol. 801, page 20 of the
Deed Records of Jefferson County Texas. Property
presently vacant.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, together with all and
singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging, unto the
said LOUIS E. VAUGHN, their heirs or assigns, forever.
But it is distinctly understood and agreed that this conveyance is made
and accepted without covenants or warranty of any kind, either expressed or
implied.
