R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has recommended and approved
the sale of the property described as Lot 16, Block 10 of the
West Oakland Addition, to Grace Temple Church of God in Christ
for the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1 ,000 ) ; and
WHEREAS, because such property is being held in trust
by Jefferson County for the City of Beaumont and the Beaumont
Independent School District, it is necessary for all three
entities to execute a deed to such property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Albert E. Haines, City Manager, be, and he is hereby,
authorized to execute a Deed Without Warranty to Grace Temple
Church of God in Christ transferring the interest that the City
of Beaumont may have in the property described as Lot 16, Block
10, West Oakland Addition, Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this

THAT the City of Beaumont, a municipal corporation situated in Jefferson
County, Texas acting herein by and through its City Manager, the Beaumont
Independent School District, acting herein by and through the President of its
Board of Trustees, and the County of Jefferson, acting herein by and through its
County Judge, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE THOUSAND AND N01100
DOLLARS ($1,000.00), to them in hand paid by GRACE TEMPLE CHURCH OF GOD IN
CHRIST, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have GRANTED, SOLD and
CONVEYED, and by these presents do GRANT, SELL and CONVEY unto the said GRACE
TEMPLE CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST, of Jefferson County, Texas, all that certain
tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in Jefferson County, Texas, to-
wit:
Lot No. Sixteen (16), in Block No. Ten (10) of the WEST
OAKLAND ADDITION, to the City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas, according to the map or plat of said
addition of record in the Office of the County Clerk of
Jefferson County, Texas.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, together with all and
singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging, unto the
said GRACE TEMPLE CHURCH OF GOD IN CHRIST, their heirs or assigns, forever.
But it is distinctly understood and agreed that this conveyance is made
and accepted without covenants or warranty of any kind, either expressed or
implied. /� y
