WHEREAS, Jefferson County has recommended and approved
the sale of property described as Lot 3, Block 10 , Gold Hill
Second Addition, for Three Hundred Dollars ( $300.00 ) to W. H.
Marmion; and
WHEREAS, because such property is being held in trust
by Jefferson County for the City of Beaumont and the Beaumont
Independent School District, it is necessary for all three
entities to execute a deed to such property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Albert E. Haines, City Manager, be and he is hereby,
authorized to execute a Deed Without Warranty to W. H. Marmion
transferring the interest that the City of Beaumont may have in
property described as Lot 3 , Block 10 , Gold Hill Second Addition,
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of 1988.

DEED WITHOUT WARRANTY
THE STATE OF TEXAS
COUNTY OF JEFFERSON
THAT the City of Beaumont, a municipal corporation situated in Jefferson
County, Texas acting herein by and through its City Manager, the Beaumont
Independent School District, acting herein by and through the President of its
Board of Trustees, and the County of Jefferson, acting herein by and through its
County Judge, for and in consideration of the sum of $300.00, to them in hand
paid by W. H. MARMION, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have GRANTED,
SOLD and CONVEYED, and by these presents do GRANT, SELL and CONVEY unto the said
W. H. MARMION, of Jefferson County, Texas, all that certain tract or parcel- of
land lying and being situated in Jefferson County, Texas, to-wit:
Lot No. Three (3) , in Block No. Ten (10) of Gold Hill
Second Addition to The City of Beaumont, Jefferson
County, Texas, according to the replat of Block Nos. Ten
(10) and Eleven (11) , of said addition of record in the
office of the County Clerk of Jefferson County, Texas,
by virtue of a deed from Lydia Kelly to Gregoria Varela
and wife, Mary Helen Varela, dated February 21, 1980,
recorded in Vol. 2216, page 241, of the Deed Records.
Property presently known as 2123 Pope.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, together with all and
singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging, unto the
said W. H. MARMION, their heirs or assigns, forever.
But it is distinctly understood and agreed that this conveyance is made
and accepted without covenants or warranty of any kind, either expressed or
