R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, on October 17, 1988, bids were received for
the purchase of one (1 ) suburban-type vehicle for the Convention
and Tourism Division; and,
WHEREAS, Knapp Chevrolet, Inc. , of Houston submitted a
bid in the amount of $15, 076. 00 with 60-75 days for delivery;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Knapp Chevrolet, Inc. is the best and lowest bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Knapp Chevrolet, Inc. , in the amount of
$15, 076 . 00 for the purchase of one (1 ) suburban-type vehicle be
accepted by the City of Beaumont.
