R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, on October 10 , 1988 , bids were received for
the six inch (6" ) PVC pipe installation project at the Fire
Training Grounds for the purpose of providing a sanitary lift
station; and,
WHEREAS, Doty Construction Company, Inc. submitted a
bid in the amount of $63 , 370 . 90 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Doty Construction Company, Inc. is the best and
lowest bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Doty Construction, Inc. in the amount
of $63 ,370 . 90 for the six inch (6" ) PVC pipe installation project
at the Fire Training Grounds be accepted by the City of Beaumont
and that the City Manager be and he is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Doty Construction, Inc. for the project.
