R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has recommended and approved
the sale of property described as Lots 7 and 8, Block 20, Ogden
Addition for One Thousand Dollars ( $1 ,000 . 00 ) , Lot 6 , Block 1 ,
Pennock & Potts Addition for Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00 ) , the
East One Hundred Feet ( 100 ' ) of Lot 54 , Block 5 , Blanchette First
Addition for Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00 ) , and Lot 4, Block 2,
Woodcrest Second Addition for Three Hundred Dollars ( $300. 00 ) to
W. H. Marmion; and
WHEREAS, because such property is being held in trust
by Jefferson County for the City of Beaumont and the Beaumont
Independent School District, it is necessary for all three
entities to execute a deed to such property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Maurice Meyers, Mayor, be, and he is hereby, authorized to
execute Deeds Without Warranty to W. H. Marmion transferring the
interest that the City of Beaumont may have in property described
as Lots 7 and 8 , Block 20 , Ogden Addition; Lot 6 , Block 1 ,
Pennock & Potts Addition; the East 100 ' of Lot 54, Block 5,
Blanchette First Addition; and Lot 4 , Block 2 , Woodcrest Second
Addition.

That the City of Beaumont, a municipal corporation
situated in Jefferson County, Texas, acting herein by and through
its Mayor, the Beaumont Independent school District, acting
herein by and through the President of its Board of Trustees, and
the County of Jefferson, acting herein by and through its County
Judge, for and in consideration of the sum of ONE THOUSAND AND
N01100 DOLLARS ($1 ,000.00 ) , to them in hand paid by W. H.
MARMION, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have
GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED, and by these presents do GRANT, SELL
and CONVEY unto the said W. H. MARMION, of Jefferson County,
Texas, all that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
situated in Jefferson County, Texas, to-wit:
Lots Seven (7 ) and Eight (8) in Block Twenty
( 20 ) , of the Ogden Addition to the City of
Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas, according
to the map or plat of said addition of record
in the office of the County Clerk of
Jefferson County, Texas.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above-described premises,
together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances
thereto in any wise belonging, unto the said W. H. MARMION, his
heirs or assigns, forever.

conveyance is made and accepted without covenants or warranty of
