R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS on May 17, 1988, a contract was executed with
A. W. Busby Contracting, Inc. , in the amount of $184,451 .00 for
construction of the 1988 Community Development Block Grant Street
Rehabilitation Program; and,
WHEREAS, on September 26 , 1988, the City Manager
authorized Change Order No. 1 decreasing the contract amount by
$8 ,807.56 ; and,
WHEREAS, construction is now complete at a final
estimate of $175, 643. 44; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been inspected by the
Engineering Division and is in conformance with the plans and
specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to accept
the project and make final payment to A.' W. Busby Contracting,
Inc. , in the amount of $10 ,164.70 for construction of the 1988
Community Development Block Grant Street Rehabilitation Program.
