R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on August 22, 1988, bids were received for the
purchase of thirteen ( 13 ) portable radio units for use by the
Police Department; and,
WHEREAS, Bartlett Communications of Beaumont submitted
a bid in the amount of $1 ,117 .94 each for a total bid amount of
$14,533 .22 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Bartlett Communications is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Bartlett Communications in the amount
of $14,533.22 be accepted by the City of Beaumont for thirteen
(13 ) portable radio units for the Police Department.
