R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on August 8, 1988, bids were received for an
annual contract for the purchase of liquid polymer flocculent;
and,
WHEREAS, Allied Signal, Inc. of Morristown, New Jersey,
submitted a bid in the amount of $0. 152/lb. for an approximate
annual cost of $11 ,759.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Allied Signal, Inc. is the lowest bid meeting
specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Allied Signal, Inc. in the amount of
$0.152/lb. for an annual contract for the purchase of liquid
polymer flocculent be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
