HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 88-185 J�P-IJ�5_ N R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Jefferson County has recommended and approved the sale of the property described as Lot 1 , Block 3, Vestal Addition, to Joyce Ann Mitchell for the amount of Four Hundred Sixty-Five Dollars and Twenty-Nine Cents ($465.29) ; and WHEREAS, because such property is being held in trust by Jefferson County for the City of Beaumont and the Beaumont Independent School District, it is necessary for all three entities to execute a deed to such property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT Maurice Meyers, Mayor, be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute a Deed Without Warranty to Joyce Ann Mitchell transferring the interest that the City of Beaumont may have in the property described as Lot 1 , Block 3, Vestal Addition. // PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the 616�t day of ? , 1988. o - Mayor - THE STATE OF 'TEXAS g COUN'T'Y OF JEFFERSON KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: THAT THE STATE OF TEXAS, acting by and through the Commissioners Court of Jefferson County, Texas, and its presiding officer, R. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, together with all and singular the rights and appurtenances thereto in anywise belonging unto the said JOYCE ANN MITCHELL, her heirs and assigns forever. But it is distinctly understood and agreed. that this conveyance is made and accepted without covenants and warranty of any kind, either express or implied.
