R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on April 19, 1988 , City Council awarded a
contract to Watkins Construction Company in the amount of
$22 ,987.00 for Phase I of the Tyrrell Park Stables Renovation
Project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 , in the amount of
$5,534.00, covers conditions observed when the existing roof was
removed from the project which revealed extensive water and
termite damage ; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT Change Order No. 1 be approved to the contract between the
City of Beaumont and Watkins Construction Company and that Phase
I of the Tyrrell Park Stables Renovation Project is hereby
accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he
is hereby, authorized to make final payment to Watkins
Construction Company in the amount of $28,521 .00.
