WHEREAS, on September 15, 1986, bids were received for
the purchase of one (1 ) suburban type vehicle for use in the Fire
Department; and,
WHEREAS, J. K. Chevrolet of Nederland, Texas submitted a
bid in the amount of $14,095.38; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by J . K. Chevrolet is the lowest and best bid received
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT :
THAT the bid submitted for the purchase of one ( 1 ) suburban type
vehicle for use in the Fire Department in the amount of $14,095. 38
be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
