R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on September 8 , 1986, bids were received for the
purchase of three (3 ) electronic cash registers for the Central
Collections Department; and,
WHEREAS, NCR submitted a bid in the amount of $12, 735
with an annual maintenance contract in the amount of $1 ,145 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by NCR is the best bid meeting specifications and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of NCR in the amount of $12,735 for the purchase of
three (3 ) electronic cash registers for use in the Central
Collections Department be accepted by the City of Beaumont.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he
is hereby, authorized to approve an annual maintenance contract
from NCR in the amount of $1 , 145.
