WHEREAS, on July 11 , 1988 , bids were received for the
purchase of eleven (11 ) 35-foot advanced design transit buses and
one ( 1 ) power plant assembly; and,
WHEREAS, Transportation Manufacturing Corporation of
New Mexico submitted the following bid :

and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Transportation Manufacturing Corporation is the
lowest and best bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by Transportation Manufacturing
Corporation be accepted by the City of Beaumont in the amount of
$1 , 753, 455. 00 for the purchase of eleven transit buses.
