R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 11 , 1988, bids were received for a
contract for mowing of privately-owned property; and,
WHEREAS, Perricone Specialties Lawn Care and Edward E.
Clark Construction, both of Beaumont, Texas, submitted bids as
stated below:
Perricone Specialties Lawn Care:
Price per square foot:
Mowing $.0035/sq. ft.
Removal and Disposal , 0015/sq. ft.
of grass clippings
Edward E. Clark Construction:
Mowing - property less than $. 0027/sq. ft.
one acre in size
Mowing - property greater $.0021 /sq. ft.
than one acre in size
Removal and disposal of $.0019/sq. ft.
grass clippings
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Perricone Specialties Lawn Care and Edward E. Clark
Construction are the lowest and best bids meeting specifications
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted by Perricone Specialties Lawn Care and
Edward E. Clark Construction for a one (1 ) year contract for
the mowing of privately owned property in the amounts stated, be,
and they are hereby, accepted by the City of Beaumont.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this the
