R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 11 , 1988 , bids were received for
the rehabilitation of old Fire Station No. 9 for an emergency
shelter for the homeless; and,
WHEREAS, JLEECO Builders, Inc. submitted a bid in the
amount of $167,561 .00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by JLEECO Builders, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by JLEECO Builders, Inc. in the amount of
$167,561 . 00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont for the
rehabilitation of old Fire Station No. 9 for an emergency shelter
for the homeless, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract for such project.
