WHEREAS, on June 20, 1988, bids were received for an
annual contract for the purchase of chemicals for the Water
Treatment Plant; and,
WHEREAS, the following bids were submitted:

Technical Products Corporation Zinc Metaphosphate .65 / ib.
Jones Chemicals, Inc. Liquid Chlorine 390.00 /ton
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted above are the lowest and best bids submitted and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted above be accepted by the City of
Beaumont, in the amounts listed for an annual contract for the
purchase of chemicals for the Water Treatment Plant.
