R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on June 27 , 1988, bids were received for an
annual contract for the purchase of cement stabilized sand; and
WHEREAS , Beeco Sand Co. submitted a bid for 1 -1 /2 sack
cement stabilized sand at a price of $7.34 per ton and T-Mix
Materials submitted a bid for 2 sack cement stabilized sand at a
price of $10 .30 per ton; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted above are the lowest and best bids submitted and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids submitted above be accepted by the City of
Beaumont, in the amounts listed for an annual contract for the
purchase of cement stabilized sand.
