WHEREAS, on June 6, 1988, bids were received for a
one (1 ) year custodial contract for the Health Department; and,
WHEREAS, J. R. Parsley Co. , Inc. of Beaumont, Texas
submitted the following bid:
Monthly Annual Cost
Daily Maintenance $1 , 754.00/mo. $21 ,048.00
Carpet Shampooing .075/sq.ft 892.50
Floor Stripping & Waxing .09/sq.ft 2,955.60
Window Cleaning (Inside only) 220.00 440.00
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by J. R. Parsley Co. , Inc. is the lowest and best
bid submitted and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid submitted by J. R. Parsley Co. , Inc. be accepted by
the City of Beaumont in the amounts stated for an annual contract
to furnish custodial maintenance at the Health Department.
