R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on April 19, 1988, City Council passed
Resolution 88-91 awarding a contract to Cutler Repaving, Inc. in
the amount of $216,400. 00 for the 1988 Street Maintenance and
Rehabilitation Program Recycling and Repaving of Asphalt; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 was also approved in the
amount of $14,100.00 to adjust the original contract amount to
$202,300; and,
WHREAS, Change Order No. 2 is requested to adjust all
payment line items in the original contract proposal and Change
Order No. 1 to include final quantities used for the completion
of the subject contract; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the herein described project is accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized
to approve Change Order No. 2 and make final payment to Cutler
Repaving, Inc. in the amount of $9, 757. 13.
